As TBD continues to gather supplies for its trek out of town they gather important traveling items such as potions, rations, and adventuring equipment. Additionally Baelon used some of his earnings from the insurance claim to purchase the party a cart and 4 horses fully tacked and ready to travel. As the party saw to its errands, Muk informed the party it would be wise to rest the first night near Muk’s home as he knew the area well and the home was outside of town. They agreed and decided to head toward the small honey farm. They enjoyed food and rest while they prepared themselves for their journey to Moris, a town nearby that had issues losing animals on a great farm owned by the Haggins. Loom, Muk’s wife had prepared the group a meal to save on some rations, Marvin and Argento relaxed by the small stream and waterfall nearby, Baelon pulled out an easel and painted Muks home, Raul joined Argento near the water while Bertold practiced his magic tricks. Spades the quite and reserved Vedalken began to read his histories and books. After the party had a relaxing evening they rested for the evening though unknowingly to the group, Muk snuck from his home and proceeded back to the city.
While in the city Muk put on the mask of the shades and went around into alleys until the other shades revealed themselves to him. Shade, the leader revealed himself asking why Muk was working with Lord Mendas and the other Royals of the region. To them he replied, he had been loyal and that he went deep undercover to gain access to the royals that no shade had before. To that Shade offered Muk a deal, They would finish his initiation into the Shades as a formal member but only if he killed Lord Mendes.
