As the Party begins to interrogate the Butcher of Haggen Farms they learn about his involvement with the Wu-Ton Clan, aiding the organization in the theft of the farm animals. Raul the Rowdy Dragonborn slamming the butcher around the shed, intimidating him into revealing all he knew. Z the Butcher was supposed to get coin from the Wu-Ton in a drop inside the barn, he claimed that the agent from the Wu-Ton was a Tabaxi female named Nadia who wore Blue and Silver robes, light skinned, and both tall and thin. Outside of that, he did not know why they needed the animals or where they took them.

Following the interrogation Raul decided to take it a step further and humiliate the butcher for working for the Wu-Ton and ripped the clothes from this back and put a bag over his head and hog tied the man leaving him in the shed defenseless. During the ruckus however the farm hand Tel, came to check on what was going on but Bertold the Great the clever Hobgoblin distracted him with his street magic, giving the party enough time to meet outside and investigate the barn yet again for this drop box was meant to be.

While in the barn they met a stable hand, the son of Tel cleaning the stalls. Spades took around while the other spoke with Tel Jr, and discovered a small box in the corner of the barn buried under some hay. Taking a closer look, Muk the shifty Grung discovered it seemed like a lot of coins were in the little box due to the chips on the inside of the box.

Together the party called on Tgilla Haggen to inform him of their findings and the treachery of Z the butcher, sending the stable boy to fetch the farm owner. After informing on Z, Tgilla Haggen furiously questioned the butcher again but alas the butcher had revealed all he knew and passed out due to the fear of losing his job and possibly life to this aged but robust farm owner. The party decided to regroup at their camp to develop a plan.

While discussing the next steps in finding the missing animals and of course Yon Vanderwild, Marvin was asked to use his unicorn magic to find these arcane tracks. With a little convincing with sugar, Marvin stretched out and headed off in the direction of the missing animals and the mysterious tracks. Spades however decided to stay back to keep on eye on the camp just in case. The party set off to go find the tracks of the animals, Baelon the elderly trifling ended up giving Marvin some of the last sugar cubes but these were the last cubes he had.

During the trek Baelon and Argento spoke to one another a bit about Baelon’s missing hand and the elderly tieflings past but Baelon couldn’t remember his past life as much as you’d expect of a person seemed very foggy and distracted when asked about it before he went on a tangent of a hippogriff infection that took his hand, yet another story of a monster taking his hand. Argento spoke to Baelon of his sentimental harmonica that he carries and how it came from his family and that It reminded him of home.

Meanwhile Marvin was furiously following a thread of tracks, following the unicorn they eventually found an outcrop of rocks within the small forest, a cavern in the ground that seemed to lead pretty deep into the earth. The party asked Marvin to sit and watch the entrance while they delved deeper. As they navigated the cavern for about thirty minutes using a driftglobe of Baelons to guide the way they. Begin to hear voices of people playing chess or dice.

As they continued forward they saw a alight. Bertold peaked around the corner and saw that it was an Orc sitting on a chair widdling away on a piece of wood. Argento through a rock to try to distract the orc but he did no move at all. The party quickly whispered between one another of a make shift plan.

The party pretended to be a group of miners that were down in the cave excavating for gems, Baelon was an investor, Raul and Argento the muscle and of course Jasper (Muk standing upon Bertolds shoulders in a long illusionary jacket) was the miner. “Jasper” and Argento stepped out to the orc and tried to convince the orc they had permits to mine here and that they were told to be here excavating the cave. The orc said that this was their cave and that they had to leave to which, Baelon came out and started yelling at the orc, claiming that the had bought the land and the empire filed all the paperwork, the Orc was confused and said he needed to get his boss. Before he could go, Baelon charmed him with a spell and had him instead go out to Marvin and stand watch for a couple platinum and instead work for the miners.

After that the party walked confidently into the next room with the same story, except this time they were there for the Wu-Ton Clan. The leader of this band of mercy was a female orc named Flerga, who led the group the Ragged Dogs. She did not buy this story at all, sniffing out the lie.

The orcs and Flergas men attacked, the party was able to fend them off until Baelon convinced the leader Flerga to stand down, they were defeated. She reluctantly agreed. Baelon asked if she could show them what the Wu-Ton Clan was doing down there. As she began to speak a Tabaxi in blue and silver robes appeared behind Flerga and slit her throat open looking at the party saying, “Good Evening Gentlemen”
